I spent 40 years working in the telecommunications field, starting as an apprentice in the GPO and finishing as the Group Head for Health, Safety & Business Continuity for Telefonica UK (O2) and many roles in between and I achieved my personal goal of Chartered Fellowship of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health. I served 3 years as Council Director for the Conference Board (Europe), a part time consultancy role and retired from paid employment 10 years ago.
I was delighted to be invited to join TB Mind as a Trustee in 2010 and so far, have stayed 14 years, serving the last 2 years as Chair. I have lived in Grays for 38 years, am married to Sue, also a Trustee, for 48 years. We have 2 daughters and 5 Grandchildren.
Likes – Spending time with my family, travel and gardening.
Dislikes – I hate antisocial behaviour of any sort.
