Why Mental Health Matters To Me

Taking care of our minds deserves more unashamed conversation.
Jaime
Mental health matters to me because whether good or bad it affects every aspect of our lives.
Jane
I always found how the mind works very fascinating and that made me pursue further training. However, having had someone close also experiencing mental health difficulties and seeing the lack of services available pushed me harder to want to make a difference and support others.
Ana
I like to support those in crisis, through their darkest moments and give them the hope they need to help them on their journey to recovery. We are here to make a difference and save people's lives when they feel they can no longer save themselves.
Georgia
Mental health is important to me as i have had lived experience and know first hand the importance of services and being met with kindness and empathy.
Nick
Mental health is just as important as physical health and I want to help reduce the stigma around the conversations and make sure people get the help and services they need.
Nadine
Mental Health matters to me as it affects us all every day.
Graham
Mental health matters to me. And it should be a priority for everyone . It’s something that is very close to my heart, and has affected me and members of my family. We should all come together to support each other to make sure our mental health is the best it can be.
Fleur
Mental health matters to me because it is the cornerstone of our overall wellbeing and can affect so many areas of our life.
