Suicide Prevention

Man overlooking wall in the countryside

The talksuicide campaign has been created by the Mid and South Essex Integrated Health Care System to reduce the stigma around talking about suicide and raise awareness of suicide prevention training available FREE to ALL from the Zero Suicide Alliance.

The campaign has run so successfully the website has now been expanded and extended to Hertfordshire and Suffolk.

The website contains not only the training but localised advice for anyone struggling or who knows someone that maybe struggling, including case studies, local health services, wellbeing apps and even suicide prevention safety plans.

The 20-minute training is aimed to help people recognise the signs of someone in crisis, how to say the words to them and how to signpost to support.

The training is totally FREE and we are encouraging businesses, organisations and individuals to take 20 minutes out of their day to potentially help save lives.
