Thurrock and Brentwood Mind has been providing services for Thurrock adults experiencing emotional and mental distress for over 40 years and following identified need, developed services with young people for young people. Whilst we now also operate in Brentwood, we have expanded our services through collaborative working with partners.
Support people likely to develop mental health problems, to stay well.
Empower people who experience a mental health problem to make informed choices about how they live and recover.
Ensure people get the right services and support at the right time to help their recovery and enable them to live with their mental health problem.
Open the doors to people with experience of mental health problems participating fully in society.
Gain equality of treatment for people who experience both mental health and other forms of discrimination.
Make the most of our assets by building a culture of excellence.

We work with various statutory and voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across Mid and South Essex to deliver mental health support to individuals. From delivering crisis services, improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT), admission prevention and early discharge services, and educational courses for mental health and well-being, our partners are really integral to the work we do.
