Hi, my name is Sue Lyons. I lived in Thurrock for the past 38+ years. Over my working life I have had many jobs ranging from floristry, childminding, driving an ambulance, and working in a large ICT department for a local manufacturing company. I have been a volunteer for the past 18 years, first with St Lukes, assisting with their admin within the fundraising department, and for the last 14 years as a trustee with Thurrock and Brentwood Mind. My time with TB Mind has been challenging, informative, and at times, hard work. The best thing about TB Mind? The people who work and volunteer there and who, day in and day out, show that they care.
Likes – Being retired, I love spending time with my grandchildren and traveling to as many places as possible.
Dislikes – Having my photograph taken (as my family know only too well)!
