Mental health is more than a small part of our lives – it’s every moment of every day. It’s a hard day’s work and a catch-up with friends. It’s when you become a parent and the day you lose someone you love. It’s the times you reach out for support and the years you spend on a waiting list. It’s the fight for a mental health system that works and hospitals that are safe.
10th October
World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for people across the globe to come together to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and show support for better mental health for everyone.
At Thurrock and Brentwood Mind, we’re proud to stand alongside our community on this day. Whether it’s by reaching out to someone who might be struggling, wearing blue to show solidarity, or hosting a big brunch for friends, family or colleagues at work, small actions can make a big difference.
And don’t forget to send us details and images of how you are celebrating World Mental Health Day comms@tbmind.org.uk
